Privacy
I was thinking about my blog a little bit ago, thinking about what I could talk about to boost its traffic or how to promote it better. I’ve said it before and I’ll stand by it: I don’t care so much about my traffic count - I really just care about writing. I care about writing things that mean something to me and to other people. Besides, this little baby gets a decent amount of traffic for where it is located.
My point is privacy. Yeah - the previous paragraph really didn’t lead up to that at all, but…ya know.
I have a lot of things I could write about that would come up big on search engines. I have access to a lot of information that a lot of people would be pretty anxious to get their hands on. Drop a few names, drop a couple of figures - I’d be in the big time.
And I would also be a target. Anonymity has its perks and for the purposes of this blog, I like them. For all intents and purposes, I am Nomad: writer of the witty, inane and sometimes potently poignant pieces of wisdom. I am inclined to agree that those moments are few and far between at times but the important thing is they are there.
P Squared (Which reminds me…did I ever talk about the Paul Peterson escapades?) Perspective and privacy, yo. Glass half-full or glass half-empty and all that crap.
